... in an Empire State of Mind!

Mexico never happened. Nevertheless - my friend and travel companion, Lene, figured that a bit of travelling would do me good after all. So while I've been at home with my family she's been in researching the concrete jungle of New York City and rented an apartment in Brooklyn.  Departure next monday - staying for about three weeks.

With our passion for good coffee NYC's many coffeebars is a must. Maybe we'll try the acclaimed coffie at Cafe Grumpy? Cute name!

Lene is has allready booked tickets for the Glasser concert at Music Hall of Williamsburg! Jippijajej! We want to watch a movie here, while the subway runs below us: It's a must to go to the cinema in every city you visit.

Maybe we'll stop for a beer at the Mars Bar??
Lene recommends the Pina Colada at The Death & Company. I'm not really into that sort of drinks, but neither is Lene, so I might be convinced and suprised!

We'll probably stop for a pizza at Arturo's or at Lombardi's.

We'll play shuffle board at Plug Uglies if we're in the Flat Iron District.. And most definitly go for a peak at the Hell Kitchen Flea Markeds; or maybe at House of Oldies; or Other Music!

And we'll visit MoMA, of course..

To be continued... :)
